본 연구는 건강정보에 대한 관심과 수요가 높은 중장년층을 대상으로 SNS 공공건강정보 활용 가능성을 검토하였다. 기술수용모델을 기반으로 정보 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 변수를 검증한 결과, 인지된 유용성, 인지된 용이성, 건강 관여도, 디지털 리터러시 모두 유의미한 영향력을 보여 주었다. 즉, 개인의 디지털 리터러시와 건강 관여도가 높을수록 공공건강정보 이용 의도가 높게 나타났으며, 해당 정보에 대한 유용성과 용이성을 높게 인지할수록 이용 의사가 높았다. 또한 인지된 유용성과 건강 관여도의 상호작용이 유의미하였다. 다시 말해 건강 관여도가 낮은 사람들이 공공건강정보의 유용성을 높게 인지할 경우 이용 의도가 크게 상승하는 것으로 나타났다.
This study examines public organizations’ use of social media to disseminate health information, focusing on the middle aged who tend to have high interest and demand for health information. Based on the Technology Acceptance Model, all four key factors - perceived usefulness, ease of use, health involvement, and digital literacy - were statistically significant in predicting intention to use. Those with high digital literacy and health involvement demonstrated higher intention to use public organizations’ health information via social media. Also, when the middle aged had high perceived usefulness and ease of use toward SNS public health information, their intention to use tended to increase. In particular, the significant interaction effect between health involvement and usefulness revealed that those with low health involvement showed a significantly increased intention to use SNS public health information when they perceived its usefulness highly.
